"For sale,” the familiar words read. But what followed in the local newspaper was anything but the expected. “Old sea captain’s home. Eight rooms. Eight fireplaces. All original.”
“It was love at first sight,” says homeowner Amy Miller. “We knew we wanted the place before we even came inside to look at it.” The nostalgic property with 30 scenic acres has been home to Randy and Amy Miller and their four children for 10 years. Museum-quality antiques abound at every turn. But this is no museum. Rather, it’s a lifestyle.
